Artist Series conferred Red Dot Award

Software Version 1.2.0 now available for download

    Version 1.2.0 EuControl software is now available for free download here, and includes the highly anticipated Soft Key Editor for the MC Control, as well as other updates. The Soft Key Editor allows users to create custom commands for any application function (or sequence of functions) - for any Mac OS X application. This editor adds significant flexibility beyond the comprehensive application sets that already ship with the MC Control for most audio/video applications.

    The MC Mix has been nominated for a TEC Award in the category of "Best Small Format Console Technology" (as well as the Euphonix S5 Fusion for "Best Large Format Console Technology"). Be sure to vote online or using the ballot found in the August issue of Mix Magazine.

    Artist Series Controllers by Euphonix won the prestigious red dot award - one of the most renowned and hardest international design competitions worldwide. The Artist Series was awarded the "red dot" quality seal for high design quality by the top-class expert jury. This award is conferred for high design quality by a world-class expert jury to particularly creative, innovative, and high-quality products. In total 3,203 products

from 51 nations competed. The festive awards presentation with more than 1,000 guests will take place on 23 June 2008 in the Essen Opera House, the Aalto Theatre.

New Apogee Maestro software supports EuCon protocol

    Apogee has released its new Maestro Version 1.7 software that includes full native EuCon support for its Ensemble and Duet audio interfaces. This software enables all Euphonix controllers and consoles to directly control Apogee's audio interfaces. Maestro Version 1.7 is available as a free upgrade on the Apogee website.

MC Control video guided tour now online

    A video guided tour of the MC Control is now online. Running just over eight minutes, the video takes you through the MC Control's main features and includes step-by-step demos of instantiating and editing plug-ins, switching applications, and much more. Click here to view the tour.

MIPA Award

    The Artist Series line of controllers was also awarded the coveted Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) for "Best Recording Hardware 2008". Dubbed the "Musical Instrument/ProAudio industries' Grammy," over 100 international magazine editors voted for the best products in each of the 40 nominated categories. Winners were announced at this year's 9th annual MIPA ceremony held during the Musikmesse show in Frankfurt, Germany.
